Can I get help filling out my offer form?
Yes. A Terra Realty agent is always happy to help. However, our form is extremely simple and requires only basic information for you to fill out. If there is a question you do not know the answer to or would like assistance with, simply leave it blank and an agent will call you back and discuss it with you.

Does submitting an offer commit you to buying that house?
No, absolutely not. An offer can always be rescinded or changed. Once you have completed your “Make an Offer ” form, a Terra Realty agent will contact you to discuss it with you.

What happens after I submit my offer form?
After you have found your home and submitted the offer form to us, a Terra Realty agent will be in contact with you. (If you have a specific agent in mind, contact them directly and tell them you are ready to go.) It is important for you and your agent to verify all of the information given on your form. Your agent will also be in contact with the listing agent so you will be prepared to make a competitive offer. Once you and your agent feel confident to proceed, a “Purchase Agreement” is prepared for your signature and then hand-delivered to the listing agent of the property.

Is finding my own home difficult?
No. You can search all MLS listings here: www.realtor.com. Keep in mind that most internet listings are about 1 week behind the Realtor MLS.

How do I set up an appointment to view a home I am interested in?
You can contact your Terra Realty agent and they will be happy to schedule a time to visit any home which you are considering to make an offer. Your agent will be happy to accompany you, or you can simply go by yourself. It is important to let the Sellers’ agent know that you are being represented by Terra Realty. This is important to remember so that the seller’s agent can provide any necessary information about the home to your Terra Realty representative.

What happens if I get a Counter-Offer?
As always, your Terra Realty agent will discuss the counter offer with you directly to find out how you want to proceed. Once a decision has been made, your agent will prepare the necessary documents for your signature, and submit the paperwork to the Sellers’ agent. It is important to remember that your licensed Terra Realty agent will be in constant contact with you and the seller’s agent at all times to make sure the entire process runs smoothly.

If I am unable to find my own home, will a Terra Realty Agent help me?
